This ultimate relaxation workshop combines the two most relaxing workshops Evolation Yoga offers; Restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra/Yogic Sleep into one blissful 2 hr class with Relaxation Therapist/Yoga Teacher Nicole Petroff.
Restorative yoga is often called active relaxation, where you learn to relax in a posture by being supported with props. It brings stress reduction and balance, with recovery of illness, anxiety or trauma. After relaxing in the restorative poses then you'll experience Yogic Sleep/Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra or "Sleep of the Yogi" is a systematic method of complete relaxation, where one appears to be asleep, but the consciousness functions at a deeper level. It has been proven to help people with sleep disorders, anxiety, high blood pressure, headaches, heart palpitations, and stress related illnesses. Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra combined transforms your stress into BLISS.
